Can increasing fat too much during keto cause bloating in lipedema?
Keto recipes emphasize fat a lot. When I increase olive oil, avocado, and butter, I stay full, but sometimes my stomach feels heavy. How should fat-protein balance be considered in lipedema?

At first I overdid fat. Adding it to everything because it kept me full tired my stomach.

When protein is low, I get hungry faster. Just adding fat does not seem enough.

I think my protein is low too. My plate has become mostly salad and oil.

Keto is sometimes explained like a race to add fat. I think that part is exaggerated.

The goal of ketogenic or low-carb nutrition is not uncontrolled fat addition. Adequate protein, quality fat sources, vegetable-fiber balance, and digestive tolerance should be considered together. If fat increase causes stomach heaviness, reflux, or bowel complaints, the plan should be reviewed. See fat and protein intake in lipedema.

This helped. I think I exaggerated fat because I called it keto.
