What are the best exercise types for lipedema?
Which exercises are most beneficial for lipedema? Can we do weight training or only aquatic?

Aquatic exercises (swimming, aqua aerobics) are the safest and most effective for lipedema. But low-impact exercises are also fine: walking, cycling, yoga. Weight training is possible with proper technique.

I do aqua aerobics 3 times a week, it feels amazing! The water pressure acts like natural compression.

Splitting movement into smaller parts helped me more than forcing one long session. It felt less discouraging.

I have something similar. It changes from day to day, so I try not to judge the whole process from one day.

My physiotherapist also warned me not to turn it into a harsh massage. Gentle and regular work was easier for me to tolerate.
